India is in the midst of a grim battle with the deadly second wave of Covid-19 pandemic. Yet, experts have predicted a third wave a few months down the line in which children and those below 18 years would be at high risk. While the Centre and state govts are adding more beds in paediatric wards, what should parents do to protect their children? The Times of India spoke to Dr Praveen Suman, Director Child Development Clinic at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi to know about the precautions that parents should follow to first protect their kids from infection, and also on the steps to be taken in case children unfortunately do get infected.
