Almost two months after India suffered the worst coronavirus surge in the world, state governments have cautiously begun to unlock. And yet, it seems people have already forgotten about the deadly second wave that led to a mad scramble for oxygen cylinders, ambulances, hospital beds and even crematoriums. People can be seen dropping their masks, and crowding at markets and other public places has become common. So much so, that officials have begun issuing warnings about the inevitable third wave.
